Welcome to DripEmails! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to get your account set up and send your first email campaign. By the end of this tutorial, you'll have created an account, added subscribers, and sent your first campaign.

Create Your Account

First, you'll need to create a free account on DripEmails.org:

  1. Navigate to the Sign Up page
  2. Enter your email address and create a strong password
  3. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
  4. Log in to your new account

💡 Pro Tip: Use a work email address to keep your campaigns organized and professional.

Access Your Dashboard

Once logged in, you'll be taken to your dashboard. This is your central hub for managing campaigns, subscribers, and analytics.

Key areas of the dashboard include:

  • Campaigns: View and manage all your email campaigns
  • Lists: Organize your subscribers into different lists
  • Analytics: Track campaign performance and engagement
  • Quick Actions: Create new campaigns or add subscribers

Create Your First Subscriber List

Before sending emails, you need subscribers! Let's create your first list:

  1. Click on "Subscribers" in the navigation menu
  2. Click the "New List" button
  3. Give your list a name (e.g., "Newsletter Subscribers")
  4. Add a description (optional but recommended)
  5. Click "Create List"

⚠️ Note: You can create multiple lists to segment your audience (e.g., customers, prospects, partners).

Add Subscribers

Now let's add some subscribers to your list. You have two options:

Option A: Add Manually

  1. Open your newly created list
  2. Click "Add Subscriber"
  3. Enter the subscriber's email address and name
  4. Click "Save"

Option B: Import from CSV

  1. Prepare a CSV file with columns: email, first_name, last_name
  2. Click "Import Subscribers"
  3. Upload your CSV file
  4. Map the columns and click "Import"

Create Your First Campaign

Time to create and send your first email campaign:

  1. Navigate to "Campaigns" in the menu
  2. Click "New Campaign"
  3. Enter a campaign name (e.g., "Welcome Email")
  4. Select the list you created earlier
  5. Write your email subject line
  6. Use the email editor to compose your message
  7. Preview your email to make sure it looks good
  8. Click "Send Now" or "Schedule" for later
